Hello, my name is Darryl Santa, President and CEO of Alpha & Omega. I’d like to share the origin story of how God began the journey and formation of Alpha & Omega.
In October 1999, my pastor asked me a simple but life-changing question: “Have you ever thought of starting your own business?”
At first, I didn’t think much of it — but that question planted a seed. God watered that seed, and soon, it sprouted into the beginning of my journey in the technology world.
My very first gig came through a company that needed help because the owner’s son — their usual tech — had left town. Concerned that Y2K would bring major upheaval, he had built a self-contained home in another state to ride it out. While I understood the Y2K risks, I had faith that God would protect me and lead me through it. So, I took the job.
I helped remediate systems that were not Y2K-compatible, and from there, my technology career began. As time went on, God continued to increase the business, connecting me with other like-minded, faith-driven business owners.
In 2007, I officially incorporated Alpha & Omega Computer & Network Services. Over the years, I came to deeply understand that Alpha & Omega is not just my business — it’s God’s business. I am called to be a good steward of the talents and resources He has entrusted to me.
This brings to mind the Parable of the Talents from the Bible (Matthew 25:14–30), where a master entrusts his servant with two talents (a large sum of money). The servant faithfully multiplies them, and when the master returns, he says:
“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.”
Faithfulness and diligence lead to blessing and increase.
Alpha & Omega is God’s business, and I am simply His steward, managing the talents He has given me for His glory.
Over the years, Alpha & Omega has weathered Y2K, the dot-com bust, 9/11, the Great Recession, the COVID-19 pandemic, and personal trials — all with steadfast commitment to God, my family, my clients, and the mission He has given me.
I believe Alpha & Omega was created as a tool to serve others, honor God in all we do, and support businesses and ministries that serve with purpose. It is my joy and calling to continue this work, multiplying what He has entrusted to me, and hearing one day,
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
